If you wish, Romanica will reserve accommodation for your stay in Modena. We are well aware that your place of residence is of the utmost importance and so for this reason we ourselves select and monitor all the living quarters that we offer to our students, ensuring that they are comfortable and are located near the school or conveniently close to a bus stop. There are four accommodation options:
Lodging in Modena
FAMILY
This is the ideal option for students who wish to be immersed in amongst daily life and customs. This option includes room and breakfast; upon request, it is possible to dìne with the host family (with half board arrangement or just occasionally). Bed sheets and towels are provided by the family.
SHARED FLAT
This is shared with the owner or other students and icludes the use of the kitchen.
Bed sheets, towels and all the necessary cooking implements are provided by the owner.
Students have to take care of the cleaning of their own room and the flat’s common areas.
INDEPENDENT FLAT
This solution enables you to have a flat all to yourself, without sharing it with other people.
Bed sheets, towels, cooking implements and washing machine are provided.
HOTEL
Romanica can recommend a wide range of affiliated hotels, all in the city centre and close to the school.
Our administrative office, if requested, will be pleased to arrange a reservation for you.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Both family and flat accommodations are available for students starting from the day before the beginning of the course (Sunday) up until the day after course finishes (Saturday).
We kindly ask you to communicate to the school the estimated time of your arrival in Modena, in order to give the host family or landlord/landlady the chance to welcome you upon your arrival.
EXTRA NIGHTS
If, for travel reasons, you wish to extend your stay with an early arrival or a belated departure, you can ask the school for the possibility to arrange one or more extra nights.
GUESTS
Are any of your friends or relatives traveling in Italy and want to come and visit you? Guests are very welcome and, if space is available, they can stay in your house.
In this case we kindly request that you always ask for permission to the school and the host family or landlord/landlady.
ACCOMMODATION SERVICE REGULATION
Accommodation service is reserved to students enrolled for:
– intensive group courses 20 hours weekly
– semi-intensive group courses 10 hours weekly+ 2 individual hours per week
– individual courses of at least 5 hours per week
– twice a week courses + 3 individual hours per week
