The courses begin with a placement test which allows us to evaluate your familiarity with the language and to form classes composed of students all at the same level. There are five levels in all: beginners, elementary, intermediate I, intermediate II and advanced. The courses run from two weeks to twelve months. It is possible to start a course on Mondays according to the course calendar.

The classes are composed of a maximum of twelve students of diverse nationalities. Each group works with two teachers, and the lessons are conducted exclusively in Italian. The four hours of daily classroom time are divided between two separate courses of grammatical structure and vocabulary, and expression and conversation. In classes composed of one or two students the duration of daily lesson will be 2 hours instead of 4; since small groups work in more intensive manner the same progress can be guaranteed.

The schedule of the courses is the following: from Monday to Friday, from 9.00 to 13.00. One class hour has the duration of 55 minutes. There will be a short break from 10.50 to 11.10.

Every fifteen days there is a test to assess the students’ progress, as well as to assure the continued homogeneity of each level.

The consistent contact between students and teachers and the flexibility of our teaching methods facilitate a real and intense encounter with the Italian language.

The teaching material is consistently reviewed according to the needs of the specific groups and individual students aiming to improve the communicative skills of every individual student. Specially selected texts, exercises, articles, literary extracts, games, songs, cartoons, and videos are used to stimulate the class’s curiosity. Your active participation allows you to learn Italian in a friendly and engaging atmosphere. The teaching together with a binder will be given by the school and is included in the course price.
